Application Process

Step 1: One copy of duly completed Admission Form

Step 2: Passport-sized photograph with white background

Step 3: Photocopy of applicant’s travel document page showing his/her full particulars, any essential information and the expiry date.

Step 4: Photocopy of original birth certificate (notarised copy*)

Step 5: Photocopy of applicant’s certified/notarised copy* of education result / certificates and transcripts (showing detailed results)

Step 6: Photocopy of documentary proof of financial ability in the form of bank statement / fixed deposit / savings accounts

Step 7: Parent’s letter of employment (printed on companies’ letterhead, stating designation and salary per month and duration of work with the company) or Business Registration Certificate if parents are self-employed.

Step 8: Employment letters of the applicant (if any; printed on companies’ letterhead, stating designation, salary and duration of work with the company)

Step 9: For applicants transferred from other schools in Singapore, a photocopy of the student pass or notification for cancellation of student pass, visit pass and embarkation form.

*Notarised translations are required if documents are in languages other than English.

Application FAQs

Q: Is my passport required during the application process?
A: Yes, your passport has to be valid for at least another 6 months for visa application.

Q: Am I required to fill in the Late Enrolment Form?
A: You are only required to fill in the form if you are starting the course after the stated starting date.

Q: Must the notarised birth certificate include a photo?
A: Yes.

Q: Am I allowed to pay my course fees after arriving in Singapore?
A: Yes, as long as your payment is made before the commencement of your course.

Q: Is there a minimum household income and savings required?
A: Yes, a bank statement and proof of combined household monthly income are required. The amount though differs from country to country.

Q: I do not have my graduation certificate. What other methods are there for me to show proof of my education qualifications?
A: We will require a letter of proof of your education qualifications from your previous school(s).

Q: When is the deadline for submission of application?
A: We do not have a fixed deadline. However, we advise you submit your application approximately three months before the start of your course.

Q: Am I allowed to apply for both a Student’s Visa and a Tourist Visa at the same time?
A: No, you are to use your In Principle Approval for entry to Singapore.

Q: Can course fees be paid on an instalment basis?
A: Course fees are to be paid on a yearly instalment basis while courses with a duration of 12 months or less require a one-time payment.
