Our Foundation English Entry Course has been designed specifically for international students who need extra support with their English language skills, before starting a Foundation Studies program.

The 10-week course provides the support you need to achieve your English goals so you can begin your journey to UNSW Sydney. You'll improve your writing, speaking and digital skills, develop independent learning skills and receive individual feedback. When you've successfully completed the course, you may progress straight into the UNSW College Standard Foundation Programme. No further English tests required!

Core Modules

English

This module helps students develop their English skills, giving them the confidence to succeed at UNSW College and UNSW Sydney. By the end of the course, students are expected to have improved their skills in presentations, group work, note-taking, comprehension, reading academic texts, research, grammar, and more.

Scope of Study

All lessons will be conducted following the Foundation English Entry Course syllabus.

Duration

This is a 2.5-month full-time course with all lessons held on campus. There are 4 contact hours per school day, 5 days per week for a total of 20 contact hours per week.
