Chinese Language Preparatory Course for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK)

 

The Chinese Language Preparatory Course for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) course offered by FIS is designed and developed for graduates of non-Chinese nationals who wish to be admitted by the renowned Chinse Universities.

 

The objective of this course is to provide a platform for non-Chinese nationals to take up the Chinese Language and prepare them for the actual examinations of HSK. To ensure we are able to attract the best students, we have designed a 6-Month preparatory course for HSK starting from level I to V. This course consists of a combination of lecture, tutorials and discussions that prepare students for to eventually sit for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK).

 

Upon the completion of the Chinese Language Preparatory Course for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi(HSK), students are expected to master the knowledge of Chinese language that are required to sit for the HSK Examination. Students with satisfactory HSK examination results may apply for courses in the renowned universities in China.

 

Core Modules

 

Chinese Language

 

The Chinese Language module aims to develop students listening, speaking, reading and wring skills in daily, academic and professional lives. After the course, learners are expected to speak Chinese language with confidence, engage Chinese conversation with native Chinese, understand the Chinese newspaper, magazines and enjoy Chinese films and plays. This will in return help our students to immerse in the Chinese culture and eventually go to China for tertiary education.

 

Scope of Study

 

All lessons will be conducted following Chinese Language Preparatory Course for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) designed by Furen International School.

 

Duration

 

This is a 6-month, full-time course with all lessons held on campus. There are 3 contact hours per school day, 5 days per week for a total of 15 contact hours per week.
